1. Why is Free & Easy Blog giving away free blogs?

We are providing this service free of charge for all those who would like to take advantage of the opportunity. The main reason we are doing this is to help those people who are unaware of how to setup blogs on their own. The internet can be confusing especially for those who are new to blogging world so we want to help. Also by helping you we are able to promote our brand and websites and we believe by helping you perhaps you will look into the other technologies we bring to the table.

2. How quick will you set up the blogs?

Depending on the nature of the customization and setup response times will very. At the moment our urgent goal is that the blog request will be completed in 24 hours from when setup is first requested (assuming all the information provided is correct).

3. I just had my blog setup, what do I do?

If you have just had your blog setup one of the first things that you can do is log into your wordpress administrative area called the “Dashboard”. Also view our Getting Started Guide in order to make sure you are aware of how to navigate through your wordpress.

4. How do change my Theme?

- Log into your WordPress dashboard at http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin
- Click on Appearance
- Click on Themes
- Click on Install Themes, at this point you can choose to search the internet for the type of theme that you like OR View the current themes that are available OR you can upload the .zip of a theme that you have downloaded to your computer.
- If you click on Newest, Featured or Recently Updated you can look through various themes that are available. To download to your wordpress click on “install” then “activate”

5. I have lost my password, how can I get it?

Easy Way:
- Visit http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin or http://yourdomain.com/wp-login.php
- Click on “Lost Your Password”
- Your password will be emailed to your email address on file.
- Enter the new password and log into wordpress

Advanced Way:
There is another way in which you can reset the wordpress in the phpmyadmin database. Details on how to do this coming soon.

6. How do I reset my password if I am already logged in?

- Once Logged into the Dashboard of your WordPress, click on Users
- Select the user that you want to edit.
- On this screen you can edit the main email, as well as reset the password.

7. How do I install a new plugin?

Easy Way
- Login into your WordPress dashboard http://yourdomain.com/wp-login
- Click on Plugins and select Add New
- By default you should see the search function, type name of the plugin that you would like to install. If it is already on the internet and in the WordPress plugin directory you will see the plugin in the search results. Click install it and then activate the plugin.

Advanced Way:
- Download the plugin to your computer (should be in a .zip file)
- Login into your WordPress dashboard http://yourdomain.com/wp-login.php
- Click on Plugins and select Add New
- Click on Upload, browse on your computer for the plugin and click open, then Install now.

8. How do I get a contact form on my page?

- Login into your WordPress dashboard http://yourdomain.com/wp-login.php
- Click on Plugins
- Upon setup you should see the plugin called “Contact Form 7″, select activate.
- You will notice that on the bottom on the dashboard there is a section entitled “Contact” which is how you manage the contact form. For more information on how to use the contact form plugin/page please click here

9. How Do I post New “Blog post”/Article?

- Log into your WordPress dashboard at http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin
- Click on Post
- Click on Add New, at his point you will be able to create a new post that will be posted to your blog when finished.
- Before publishing a new post make sure to check the various settings, like formatting of the text and what category you would like the post to be placed in. (By default if a category is not chose then it will be placed in uncategorized)

10. I want to insert custom HTML in a widget or sidebar?

- Log into your WordPress dashboard at http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin
- Click on Appearance
- Click on Widgets
- Select the Text widget from the available widgets and drag it to it’s desired location on the various side bars. Title the text widget and enter regular text or any HTML and click on save.
